Lately I’ve found that my ability as a writer has caused me to harper on certain memories and continue to analyze them long after their finished. I write about, think about it and am often led to wonder “what could’ve happened differently if I did or didn’t do this”. Sure writing has helped w/ my curiousity and need to ask questions but sometimes I find in just doing to much. There are many moments where I feel split between the past and the present. I’ve come to realize that focusing on the presence will bring about a more fruitful life rather than harpering on something that happened so long ago. Worrying over what already transpired robs you of the chance to enjoy your moments of the present, create new better memories, engage in new things, meet new people and grow.
